Sponsor a Meal Packing Event
Meal packing events are powerful and fun! During the event, your group will assemble meals that will later be distributed to the recipient of your choice. Here's how it works:
Step 1: Have the desire to end hunger!
Hunger is prevalent in every corner of the world. You can join us to fight this destructive force.
Step 2: Choose recipients
You can direct the meals to one of our partner agencies in Haiti or Guatemala or choose to have them stay in the United States.
Step 3: Set a meal goal
Your group can pack anywhere from 3,000 to 1 million meals or more! Each meal costs $0.27 to create. Your meal goal will drive your fundraising goal.
Step 4: Choose a packing location and date
We come to you or you come to us! If your meal goal is less than 30,000 meals we ask that you come to our Indianapolis packing facility. If you plan to pack more than 30,000 meals in the Indianapolis metro area, we bring a turnkey packing event to your location.

A Pack Away Hunger representative will work with you to schedule the event.
Step 5: Raise funds for the meals
Your fundraising goal is based on the number of meals you want to pack. Each meal costs $0.27.
We provide you an online fundraising system and marketing materials to help raise awareness and excitement for your event!
Step 6: Recruit volunteer packers
Recruit volunteers to pack at the event based on the number of meals you plan to pack. 12 people can pack 3,000 - 4,000 meals in one 2.5 hour shift.
Our online registration system is a fast and simple way to sign up volunteer packers.
Step 7: Packing Day!
Pack Away Hunger provides all of the ingredients needed to pack the meals. An experienced event manager will train the volunteers and supervise the packing process. Your team assembles the meals and feels great for helping others!

Meal Cost = $0.27 per meal
Volunteers = 12 People needed for one assembly line
Time = 1 assembly line creates 3,000-4,000 meals in a 2.5 hour shift
